A dialog between the two artists that turns into an installation, a collection of objects, videos, photographies, sounds and texts about the transformation of things. The show iniciates a time travel through personal memories, particularly those ones that pull you back and don't let you move forward. The elements of the exhibition, as gateway between past and present, become the symbols of a purifiying ritual.
On the occasion of the Berlin Art Week, from the 18th to the 20th of September 2015, Vesselroom Project in cooperation with Erratum Galerie will host in their premises the performative installationStendahl Labor by Carmen Loch (DE) which will take place as an unbroken continuation of the exhibition Point of No Return.
Marco Montiel-Soto

Lives and works in Berlin
Marco Montiel-Soto studied Photography and M.A. Sound Studies at the Universität der Künste Berlin. After extensive travels across Europe, he settled in Berlin. His work has been presented in numerous exhibitions in South America, United States and Europe such as Museo de arte contemporáneo Maczul, Maracaibo 2015; Galería Carmen Araujo, Caracas 2014; 5th Marrakech Biennale 2014, Kinderhook & Caracas, Berlin 2013; Galería D21, Santiago de Chile 2013; Ars Electronica Festival, Linz 2012; Museum of Latin American Art, Long Beach 2011; Hamish Morrison Galerie, Berlin 2011; Savvy Contemporary, Berlin 2011; Kommunale Galerie, Berlin 2010; Espacio Al Borde, Maracaibo 2010; Haus der Kulturen der Welt, Berlin 2009; CCCB, Barcelona 2009. In 2013 he participated in Taller Bloc-D21 art residence program in Santiago de Chile and has been invited to participate in different projects for the Berliner Künstler-DAAD programm.
Cristina Moreno García
(1985 Zaragoza, Spain)
Lives and works in Berlin
Cristina Moreno García studied Fine Arts with main focus in new media at the Castilla La Mancha University in Spain and Free Arts at the Art Academy in Nuremberg, Germany by professor Heike Baranowsky. She has participated in numerous collective exhibitions like Videoart Spring Screening in Salzburg (AT), Neues Museum in Nuremberg (DE), La Laboral de Gijón (ES), Körner Park in Berlin (DE) and recently solo shows as invited artist in Often Auf AEG in Nuremberg (DE), Eigen+Art in Leipzig (DE) or Lamosa Lab in Cuenca (ES). She took part on the Goldrausch Künstlerinnen Program in 2013 in Berlin (DE), and always in the same year co-funded the project space Vesselroom Project in Kottbusser Tor, Berlin (DE).
